I am a DMV native now located in Clarksville, TN. My goal is to never treat my clients like a number but to always give quality hair care and great customer service.

In addition to the Mane Control Hair Care line, I am a Certified Associate Trichologist and our business is certified as a Women Business Enterprise in the state of TN.

My Story
My journey to become one of the industry's most professional salon owners and quality hair care line developer was not a clear cut road. As a young girl, I had dreams to become an Obstetrician. Yes, I wanted to deliver babies or become some type of nurse. As I got older those thoughts slower got removed and just like the average person, I didn't know what I wanted to do.
I attended Virginia State University, starting off with Business Management and transitioning over to English/Mass Communications. Long story short, I did not finish. I gave birth to my first son and chose to be a parent. I worked as a daycare assistant and then moving on to become a Policyholder Analyst at life insurance company. I had my second child and stayed at that job for 6 1/2 years before they fired me. I got married to my loving husband and started my next journey.
I attended New Creation Academy of Hair Design and finished in 11 months. Worked at a salon in DC for 12 months and decided to move on. I went out on my own but it was short lived. I had to get a part-time job and hustle hair on the side. That part-time job ended up lasting for almost 10 years. Fortunately, my family got an opportunity to move out of state for my husband's business and that's where my mindset changed.
Mane Control Hair Care was rebranded and the rest is history. Mane Control Hair Care is built on customer service and focusing on your hair care needs. Just know that in order to succeed, you have to keep pushing over all obstacles.

Our Salon Operations Assistant is a Kentucky native with a bubbly personality. She has completed Cosmetology School and now serves as Mane Control's conductor of operations. Hannah has a creative and leadership mindset that keeps us engaged in the community and online.
Cosmetologist/Natural Hair Stylist
Amber
Amber has 10+ years experience in the industry. She brings her skills of natural hair styling while also giving her clients knowledge of at home care. Amber continues to acquire knowledge for a better hair care experience.

Michaela
Our new Natural Hair Stylist has 25+ years doing natural hair in Nashville. She brings to Mane Control her skills of great shampoo techniques, from loc retwist, silk press, weaving, etc.
